Adult Education

Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” It is the task of the education ministry to consider the educational needs of the Baker Heights congregation, and to design curricula and lesson series to meet those needs.

The committee meets at least once a month to consider such matters as what Biblical books and/or topics our classes will teach and who would be the best-suited teacher to present these lessons. In addition, the committee is deeply involved in the creation or selection of each year’s theme, and planning how the year’s classes will incorporate this theme.

The primary goal of the adult education ministry is to make sure that all the members of the congregation are thoroughly equipped for every good work.
(2 Timothy 3:17)
