Baker Heights is having a great year! There are baptisms and new folks joining us to work and worship. We are on an exciting journey to Heaven together!
Good things are happening!
Attendance is increasing. The Wednesday night sermon series has been excellent. VBS was a super success. Our youth had a great summer at White River and are involved. The new LightPost is proving to be an effective tool for keeping tabs on each other. Changes to worship are resulting in a more edifying experience. The website is being upgraded, and new podcasts and blogs are being produced to get the Word out.
Sam’s preaching and teaching are excellent, and Julie is amazing in all that she does. Our deacons and ministry teams are working to build up the body and reach lost souls. And, we have very capable teachers presenting great lessons from God’s word.
Exciting things are happening this fall – Children’s Bible Class, LifeWise, Feeding the Flock, Fifth Sunday Fellowship, Back to School Cookout, and a special Trunk or Treat community outreach. STAY TUNED!

God is doing mighty works at Baker Heights! Here are ways we can keep the momentum going and finish strong:
- Attend a Bible class, if possible.
- Be at worship Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday, if possible.
- Be a cheerful and generous giver as you’ve been prospered.
- Study your Bible.
- Pray for each other and encourage one another.
- Bring someone to church and take them to lunch.
- Tell others what Jesus has done for you.
- Pray for God to lead people to us who are searching for answers.
