- Description: (Spring Quarter) – “Chasing after wind… lessons from a life sent searching for satisfaction.’ Life is a journey. All of us would agree with that. For many, life is a sad journey spent searching for wealth, health or happiness, none of which seems to materialize. King Solomon had to learn that lesson the hard way. He searched most of his life for satisfaction, for fulfillment and for happiness only to refer to that search as a “chasing after wind.” Many of Solomons conclusions are made looking back on his own life, looking at mistakes he made and drawing wise conclusions. He records those in the little book we call Ecclesiastes or simply “the preacher.” Join us this quarter as we look at those life lessons and apply them to our own search!
