LOOKING AHEAD
Moses once made a statement like this, “We have dwelt here long enough let us move on!”
The principle of moving on, of increasing, of growing, is basic to Christianity. We need to apply it to ourselves on an individual basis.
Let us move on from…
- …worry to work to reward;
- …ignorance to knowledge to wisdom;
- …stagnation to growth as a Christian;
- …being saved to serving;
- …narrowness to wiser perception of Christ;
- …selfishness to greater giving;
- …the world to Christianity to heaven.
INDIVIDUALS AND THE COMMUNITY
For each of us have to work out our own salvation and bear our burden. Our growth depends on moving as an individual first, then as a group.
