About Stronger Women Podcast
The Stronger Women Podcast hopes to encourage ladies from all walks of life to share God’s love through understanding of God’s Word. We live in difficult times. Today, many cultural shifts, some of them hostile to the Christian faith, bring burdens, troubles, and uncertainty for those who wish to find solid ground.
Join co-hosts Kacie, Sienna, and Kit, along with their guests, as they explore everyday challenges from a Christian point of view. This podcast is made possible by the Baker Heights church of Christ.
Meet the Co-Hosts
Kacie
Hi, My name is Kacie. My husband, Rick, and I have two awesome kiddos. We also have 2 dogs, and 1 grumpy orange cat named Clark. I have a passion for teaching music, but suspended my career as a school band director to be a homemaker. I currently work as a part-time preschool music teacher. Our family also started our homeschool journey this school year.
I enjoy “glamping” with my family in our little old R.V. and playing flute with the local community band. I love teaching bible class and spending time with my family, especially my church family!
I was blessed to be raised in Christ’s church. I’m so grateful to have had such wonderful, godly parents and grandparents. I put on Christ in baptism the summer before 8th grade. Since then, God has blessed my life in ways I had never imagined he would.
After covid, I uncovered a passion for God’s word like I’d never had before. I especially felt an urgency for learning to teach God’s truth to the next generation, starting with my own children.
My hope for this podcast is to encourage women and to BE encouraged. I hope that, together, we grow our love for God and for one another.
A Favorite Passage
“Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.”
John 21:25

A Favorite Scripture
Kit
Hi. My name is Kit Mullins. I grew up in Abilene and played tennis at Abilene High and Hardin Simmons. I worked for World Bible School in their Internet department for a dozen years. Now my husband Jesse and I own a marketing agency. We have 6 kids and 15 grandkids. For fun, I love to travel, read, camp, and garden, but my very favorite past time is Bible Study.
My hope for this podcast is to connect with others who want to know God and study God’s Word. I believe that the more we wrestle with the text, the more we come to trust God. The more we trust God, the better we understand His love.
The text is elaborate. It is lavish. It is the very words of life. Let’s not be afraid to get out our shovels and dig! The treasures we’ll uncover are eternal.
Together, let’s seek Him, model Him, and share Him.
Some Favorite Verses
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished in His glorious presence, with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority through Jesus Christ our Lord before all time, and now, and for all eternity.”
Jude 24-25
“Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever. For great is your steadfast love toward me;
you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.”
Psalm 86 11-13
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
