| After we become
Christians God expects us to grow in faith and knowledge. Our Bible classes on Sunday and
Wednesday offer many opportunities to study God's Word and various topics related to
Christian living. |

| Whenever we gather
together as a church, we gather to worship God. Our corporate worship is a special time
when we recognize God's presence, when we love one another, and proclaim the gospel truth
that Jesus has been raised from the dead. We sings songs of praise, we take communion
together, we offer prayers of thanks and intercession, we have the opportunity to give to
God and we preach His Word with conviction. Everyone is welcome at our worship assemblies
as together we praise the Lord. |

|
| As Christians we
take care of the material and physical needs of other Christians and people in need in our
community. We offer benevolence to non-members in the form of a food pantry. We offer
financial assistance to our members as well as marriage and financial counseling. |

| Just as Jesus said,
"Let the little children come to me," we also treasure our children. We have
interactive and creative Sunday and Wednesday classes for kids up to 5th grade, as well as
an annual Vacation Bible School, and a fun-filled Children's Bible Class every Sunday
evening. |

| It is important to
us that we have a clean and functional building in which to worship God and to conduct the
business of the church. Our facilities deacons replace supplies, clean up, mow the grass
and make sure the air conditioner and heat are in working order. |

| Being together is a
wonderful opportunity for us to be the "body of Christ," and to practice
authentic friendship and community. We share so many things together. Our deacons ensure
that the kitchen is well-stocked, and everything is in place for us to share "sweet
fellowship." |

| Information
Technology |
| |
|
|
| We live in a
multi-sensory, 3-D, surround-sound, interactive world. We recognize the need to engage the
digital information culture with God's timeless truths. Technology is a powerful ministry
tool. To that end we utilize e-mail, web sites, blogs and PowerPoint presentations to
disseminate helpful and encouraging information as quickly as possible. |

| While Jesus has told
us to "Go into the world" with the Gospel, it is important that we be a light to
our immediate community. Local evangelism is about enhancing the visibility of the church
in our neighborhood and city. It is about sharing the wonderful truth of the gospel of
God's love with those closest to us. |

Donny Vogler |
| God has given
everybody special gifts and talents to use in His service. He has also made us part of the
body of Christ. Every Christian is a servant in their own right. The member involvement
deacons make sure every member is "plugged into" an area of work that suits
them. They also oversee our Family Circles small group program. |

We recognize the great service these men and women provide, and we honor them by serving
their special needs. |

| We work hard to
share the gospel in as many places as possible. We support an active jail ministry in
Taylor County. We support churches and ministers in Colorado, New York and Oregon. We
support missionary families in Brazil. We support several local preachers in India. We
support the East-Reach work in Zambia and we are extensively involved with World Bible
School. Many souls have been won all over the world because of our missionaries. |

| New Christians need
a lot of love, support and instruction. Real and lasting change happens when God's spirit
fills your life while you are part of a loving community of believers. We encourage new
Christians to mature through the First Principles class, fellowship and Bible study and
prayer. |

| Visitation |

Richard Oller |
Stuart Tiner |
| Many people, members
and visitors alike, really need and appreciate a visit. It shows we are concerned. Our
visitation teams call on members to visit those who are sick and cannot be with us. They
also contact our assembly visitors each week. |

| In the New Testament
one of the most important functions of the church was to take care of widows. We still
honor that commitment today. Our widows and the homebound have special needs and concerns
that we are careful not to neglect. |
|
| Women |
| The women at Baker
Heights are active and serve in every area of the church. In addition to all the other
ministry areas, the women have special opportunities to plan and participate in Children's
Bible Class, Ladies' Class, Ladies' Night Out and Ladies' retreats. |

| Our kids face unique
challenges today. Everyday their faith is under assault from their peers and from the
culture. We strive to provide a place where teenagers can feel loved and secure, and where
they can be instructed in how to please and honor God and their parents. The youth
minister works with the Parent Team for Youth (PTY) to plan Bible classes, devotionals,
service projects, mission trips, summer camps, and many other fun and exciting
opportunities to grow up in the Lord. |
